Other Chart Types & Questions?

There are definitely other types of charts in Excel and each of its own uses but for the most common and single series data, the pie, line, column, and bar will likely satisfy your graphing needs. One often overlooked issue is how would a spreadsheet and chart look when printed in black and white? The colors on the computer screen may look beautiful but they turn into different – often indistiguishable – shadys of gray in the black and white world. One way is to have data labels instead of different colors to reference which slice/line/column/bar is which item. Often people use what is easily available instead of spending time to explore more types of charts. There are 3D versions of most 2D chart types.
