		I created this homepage as an assignment for my IS101 course with Mr. Albert Wu. The course was challenging. Thanks go out to classmates Marie Curie, Albert Einstein, Benjamin Franklin and Elvis Presley who studied with me. Balancing work, school, and family life was not easy. I attribute my success to this – I never gave or took any excuse.
	Operating System and Hardware
		Venturing into the new world of using a computer was scary. But I conquered that fear as how very little can be done under the spirit of fear. I learned how to navigate the Windows 10 operating system, manage files and folders, use cloud storage, customize settings through the Control Panel, identify key hardware components, see how electronic devices are disposed of, and troubleshoot basic issues with the computer and connectivity.
	Office Productivity Software
		This was definitely the most hands-on portion of the course. I think one's feelings waste themselves in words; they ought all to be distilled into actions which bring results. With Microsoft Word, I created a résumé and this homepage. With Microsoft Excel, I created a spreadsheet to analyze spending. With Microsoft PowerPoint, I created a slideshow presentation. I even performed data integration for Mail Merge using Object Linking and Embedding.
	Public and Professional Communication
		Mr. Wu started our living in the digital world from the first day of class with each of us starting our own blog. Commenting with netiquette on people’s blog posts and discussion threads gave me insight into their mentality and publishing posts on my own blog made me more cognoscente of how I present myself. The greatest heroes are those who do their duty in the daily grind of domestic affairs whilst the world whirls as a maddening dreidel.
	Beyond IS101 Introduction to Information Systems
		I am proud to finish IS101 with high marks. Outside of IS101, topics that fascinate my mind are visual presentation of information and statistical graphics, literature, women’s movement, and theology. But the one that captures my heart is nursing. The very elements of what constitutes good nursing are as little understood for the well as for the sick. The same laws of health, or of nursing, for they are in reality the same, obtain among the well as among the sick.
